2000 Caterham 7

The Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) finally let the Seven back in to racing as the 2 L Zetec powered Caterham 7. Starting in 2000 it competed in E-Prod and ITE across the USA. One of the best results was 2nd overall (1st in class) in the Texas Shootout 6 Hour Enduro race at Texas World Speedway, where co-driver Stu Hayner just missed out the win by a few feet with rear tires down to the cords.
